Episcopal Scholarships for Delta Students

2025-2026 Scholarship Fund Announcement

High school seniors and current Stephens Scholarship fund recipients who live in one of Arkansas’ Delta counties are encouraged to apply for a Stephens Delta Scholarship to attend college in Arkansas.  Residents of the following counties are eligible for a Stephens scholarship:  Arkansas, Ashley, Chicot, Crittenden, Cross, Desha, Drew, Jefferson, Lee, Lincoln, Mississippi, Monroe, Phillips, St. Francis, or Woodruff.

The selection committee especially seeks applicants with both demonstrated financial need and demonstrated potential to succeed in a college or university setting.  Please spread the word about this scholarship program administered by the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas, among qualifying students and those who work with students in the eligible counties.

While the committee cannot guarantee the scholarship amount, scholarships usually range from $500 to $1,500.  (Continuing Stephens scholarship recipients may request a maximum of $1,500.)

Students who received Stephens Scholarships in 2024-25 are eligible to apply as continuing students. Students graduating high school in 2025 should apply as new students.  Application forms and instructions for both new and continuing students are attached and may also be accessed at:  http://episcopalarkansas.org/stephens-scholarship/.
