The Christoph and Caroline
Keller Fund for Mission
2024–25
The Christoph and Caroline Keller Fund for Mission is an endowment fund of the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas created to assist in funding programs for mission outreach.
Grant Priorities
Biennial grants from Keller Fund investment proceeds are awarded to support mission outreach. Priority is given to projects furthering the mission of the Diocese of Arkansas and of the Episcopal Church beyond the Diocese of Arkansas. Programs not directly connected with the mission of the Episcopal Church may be considered if such programs have strong Episcopal Church leadership and are endorsed by a bishop of the Church.
Eligibility
Any individual or organization relating to the mission of the Episcopal Church is eligible and encouraged to apply.
How to Apply
Complete the application form and email it to Lou Stinnett, or return it to the following address:

How Grants Are Made
The Distribution Committee, made up of seven persons, will evaluate each proposal for its innovative educational nature, realistic goals, reasonable budget, and project activities that include involvement in the mission of the Episcopal Church.
Grants may be used for materials, equipment, and other items necessary to carry out the proposed project. Priority is given to requests for assistance to initiate new programs. It is unusual for the same individual or organization to receive consecutive Keller Fund grants. Applicants should also understand that, due to available resources, maximum grants are usually $2,000. Grants are made only in even-numbered years. Recipients of a Keller Fund grant are required to wait out one application cycle before reapplying (i.e. if a grant was received in 2022, you may not reapply until 2026). Funds must be used during the period for which the application is made (one to two years).
Evaluation
During the evaluation period for which the grant is made, a representative of the Distribution Committee may visit a grant recipient to review the project’s progress. By December 31 of the year after the grant is received, the grant recipient is expected to submit a statement of accountability showing the use of the funds. The statement should include major project accomplishments, plans for future and summary of expenditures. An article and picture of the project would be most welcome.
