Clergy Employment Opportunities

  • St. Andrew's, Mountain Home

    Full-Time Rector
    Accepting nominees.

St. Andrew's is a welcoming and affirming small-town congregation located between Bull Shoals Lake and Lake Norfork, both well known for their great recreational and fishing opportunities in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Our worship is intentional, reverent, creative, and joyful. We celebrate God’s presence in our lives, in the broader community, and in the beauty of the landscape we inhabit.

We open our church to the community in a variety of ways and also host programs in the series "The Arts at St. Andrew’s" that include concerts and history lectures. We are actively seeking more ways to promote ecological sustainability including solar panels and a public bee, bird, and butterfly-friendly meditation garden.

We are seeking a full-time rector who is outgoing and compassionate, an effective administrator, and a creative preacher and teacher who finds joy in working with older church members. We would consider emerging models of ministry, such as part-time, and will negotiate on salary.

Serving in partnership with our new priest, we hope to develop lay leadership, revitalize adult formation, and connect actively with religious seekers in the Mountain Home area.

Mountain Home is a great community with outstanding schools and a progressive city government. We have been named one of the 50 Best Small Towns in the South 2023 by Southern Living Magazine. Our two lakes offer some of the best fishing around, and there is easy access to the Buffalo National River.
