A Message from Bishop Benfield

When I left for vacation a few weeks ago, I simply wanted to go someplace where I could sit and read.  My wish was  fulfilled. While on vacation in Maui one of those legendary Hawaiian waves got the best of me.  I ended up cracking my left clavicle.  The doctor told me that he wanted me to spend time in my condo, read, and enjoy the rest of my vacation.I returned home to have surgery and I'll be wearing a sling as I continue to heal.  In the coming weeks, I may be a little gimpy, but I'll be glad to be back home in Arkansas.  My recuperation time should be minimal and there will be little disruption.  I'm delighted to have my good staff, the help of Bishop Maze - and those of you around the church in Arkansas - with whom to work as we continue our mission.
