St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Hope, Ark., is home to a unique set of paintings. Painted by Texas artist Randall M. Goode over a seven-year period, the 14 canvases depict the final hours of the life of Christ, from the time he is condemned to die until his body is carried from the cross.

The paintings were commissioned by Phil Cato in honor of his family, who were long-time parishioners at St. Mark’s.
