"According to a report from the Forrest City Fire Department, firefighters were called to 1120 Ophelia Street, just before 6 p.m., Monday. When firefighters arrived, they found the south building on the campus of Christ Church School engulfed in flames. Firefighters spent more than three hours extinguishing the fire that destroyed the building which has served as a black school, community center, polling site and gathering place for decades."
