MISSIONPALOOZA Little Rock

This July we will be our first Missionpalooza in Little Rock. This event is four days of service with some great organization in Little Rock and 1 day of fun in the sun at Wild River Country to celebrate at the end. The week is open to all youth entering the 9th grade in 2013 to seniors who have graduated in 2013. We will be staying at Trinity Cathedral in Little Rock and each evening will be filled with fun games, music and programs in the evenings also around downtown. We are very excited to be serving with:

  • St. Francis Ministries The mission of St. Francis House is to provide a means of addressing the diverse, critical needs of the underserved, which are not adequately addressed by others in the community.
  • Felder’s Farm Felder Farm is an educational market garden serving the Little Rock community.
  • Christ Church Little Rock will be holding their annual Vacation Bible School that is not only for children from local Episcopal parishes, but also open to children from the Dorcas House and Our House Shelter.
  • Habitat For Humanity

Each youth will be placed on a specific service team of 10 youth and 2 adults where they will serve each day July 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th. When possible all travel will be done in local Metro Transportation. The evening of the 11th we will have a special closing service at 7 p.m. and all go together on Friday the 12th to Wild River Country for a day of celebration. Youth can be picked up after 2pm on Friday from the waterpark.Register Now at http://eycarkansas.org/little-rock-missionpalooza/
