Shalom Weekend for Young Adults

The Episcopal Church in Arkansas will host its first Shalom Weekend at Camp Mitchell on August 19–21. The retreat will focus on cultivating "shalom," or peace and wholeness, in our lives. Participants will be able to take part in conversations about "Shalom and Personal Finance" and "Shalom in the Home."Lowell Grisham, rector of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Fayetteville, Ark., will be the keynote speaker. Beth Maze and Ann Pollard, long-time primary school educators, will lead workshops in parenting. Individual sessions on personal finances will also be offered.
