The Rev. Carey Stone Inducted as Rector at St. Luke’s, NLR

The Rev. Carey Stone was inducted as the new rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in North Little Rock, Ark. The ceremony took place Tuesday, Oct. 18—the feast day of St. Luke. The ceremony was officiated by the Rt. Rev. Larry Benfield, Bishop of Arkansas, and the homily was delivered by the Rev. Danny Schieffler, rector of St. Mark’s, Little Rock.

The Rev. Joanna Seibert also began her ministry as deacon of St. Luke’s. She has been an ordained deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas for 10 years and has served as a deacon at St. Margaret’s and Trinity Cathedral, both in Little Rock. The Rev. Seibert is also a professor of radiology and pediatrics at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences.
