Episcopalooza is a daylong summer event for youth in Arkansas. It will be a celebration of all things Episcopal, with games, music, and special guests.
We will have two Episcopalooza days – Saturday, July 17th, at St. Paul's Fayetteville, and Saturday, July 24th, at St. Margaret's, Little Rock.
Each day will be divided into three sessions, according to the grade you completed in 2021. The cost is $10 per person with a maximum of $25 per household. This will include a special LIMITED EDITION Episcopal Arkansas T-Shirt and all the art supplies you will need for the day.
Primary (completed 1st–4th grade) 9 a.m.–noon
The Rev. Sandra Curtis (Chaplain for the Lower School at Episcopal Collegiate) will talk to us about what it means that we move and pray so much in church and how that shapes who we are as Episcopalians. Also expect some of your favorite songs and games from camp.
Junior High (completed 5th–7th grade) 1–5 p.m.
Expect games, music with Marvin Mclennon, and visits from our own Episcopal celebrities to talk to us about how the church is working in the world in ways you would never know. Minds will be BLOWN! Bring your instrument with you if you would like to play music with us.
Senior High (completed 8th–12th grade) 6–9 p.m.
Frisbees will be thrown. Guitars will be played. Smores will be eaten. Also expect some special guests to talk to us about social justice in Arkansas and how the Episcopal Church is involved. You will learn how you can be involved also. (This session will be streamed online for those who can't make it.)
We will end the night with some kind of feast to honor our seniors.
If you have completed the 9th–12th grade and would like to help us, please out the form and tell us.
