Youth

The Episcopal Church in Arkansas’ Youth Community fosters Christian Community for youth in grades 6-12.  We also work to help congregations encourage and inspire their youth to be active in their faith and their local communities.    Our program and events are open to all youth regardless of church membership.  Our youth are very active in their congregations, at Camp Mitchell and more recently in Provincial and International Episcopal Youth Activities.

Our events and programs are administered by Randall Curtis, the Ministry Developer for Young Adults and Youth, who is available as a resource to your congregation to assist with local youth ministries.

UPCOMING YOUTH EVENTS

Sr. High Winterstar Feb. 24th-26th, 2012  and Jr. High Winterstar March 2nd-4th, 2012  
The Winterstars are our two youth events that share the same theme and Christian Formation time but are divided by Sr. High (9th-12th grade) and Jr. High (6th-9th grade).  Ninth Grade youth can choose to go to either weekend.  Winterstar Registration
 

Happening #27 April 27th-29th
Happening is a renewal weekend for 10th-12th grade youth. The weekend centers on how we respond to the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.  Talks are given by youth who have been through Happening before.  Small group discussions, large group activities, singing and drama fill the weekend, from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. This happening will be held at St. Peter’s Conway, AR.  Happening #27 Registration
